Hey guys,

I have a pair of OEM Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in size 295/30/20.

DOT 3513 on BOTH. 8.75/32" on both tires.
Both tires caught a nail directly in the center of the tread and were professionally patched, see pictures.

I remember reading a posted e-mail from a Michelin engineer which stated the differences between OE BMW and non-OE are a marginally stiffer sidewall, lower rolling resistance, 1/32" less tread when new and a fractionally larger tread section width (in this size 11.6" vs 11.5"). Overall, nothing I'd imagine would be cause for worry on your C2S! Great car BTW!
