Well done sir well done!! This is what we have all been waiting for, finally a slip that represents the incredible power this car can make!! To go from 1 10sec car to sniffing the 9's is amazing. Even that 0-60 time is super impressive, just all around an amazing performance by your car, kudos to you and who ever built it

Thx. I'd like to say that I tried various things in this journey. I will skip the commentary, but here are the mods.

Very specific to this level of performance:

BMS JB4 + BMS - without this nothing is possible
Pure Turbos - S1 for now. They are the real deal and waiting for S2
BPM Flash - this is a tweak of BPM's flash to specific criteria I requested. It's a clean flash w/o issues (critical for adding even more boost > 22psi flash limit)
SSP 900+ Clutch Packs
Ice Tank - custom made by AC Fabrication in Chatsworth
Line Lock - Standard Moroso solenoids, installed by AC Fabrication
Mickey Thompson ET Streets (305/35/19) - courtesy of a special friend

Remaining mods are standard:

AMS DP
RPI Exhaust
Stock Intakes

The rest of it is trial and error - I have experimented with all sorts of things. Fuel mix, Meth nozzle (nozzle placement), boost management by gear, IAT control etc. This seems to be the sweet spot

Nicely done and amazing progress for your M5! Wish I could have made it to Famoso today but busy with family, I was monitoring your progress.

So do you think this wouldn't be possible without flashing it ? so far what is your best fuel mix ? Your best nozzle placement and meth/water mix ? what's your boost management by gear ? If you don't mind of course, I'm not trying to beat your record

It's all trial and error - nothing is the same for everybody.

Fuel: MS109 + 91 Octane + C85
Nozzle: It's the standard place, although I think direct port would be better
Meth Mix: 9:1
Boost Management: Depends on the car, weight and tire

I think it's great that we place our nozzles far, automization is much better.

Traction and prep will matter way more than the mix mash of fueling lol these guys could replicate the mix perfectly or even better and still not touch your times with crap delta, prep, tire setup, tire pressure...

Great times and congrats on the record would love to see you hit 9.99

For those of us who aren't questing for 9s at the strip, but just would like a faster but reliable and functional daily driver, which combination of your mods would still be useable, or required, on the street for that DD goal on pump gas? I'd guess the BMS JB4 + BMS with different tweaks, the clutch upgrade for reliability, catless DP of course. Can you estimate the improvement the Pure Turbo S1 mod adds? Are they worthwhile if using only pump gas? Thanks for your postings, exciting to follow.

Oh, you haven't mentioned any weight reduction. Is your M5 still the 4,400 pound fatty the rest of us drive?

My car is a DD... take the kids to school in it!

All of the mods are perfectly streetable - just switch maps based on the gas you are running. The ice-tank really has no benefit other than at the track (and when filled with ice). Pure S1 provides more airflow upto around 6K RPM, after that seems it (and the stock) are turbine limited.

Regarding weight - pass seat comes off at the track (its probably 65lbs. Figure race-weight (me + gas) is 4500. Car had 1000hp for this pass. The hp calculators are pretty spot on.

I'll have to get used to the new mappable programming on piggy backs. I'm from the very old school of build it and drive it. Tuning was done with jetting and cam timing, not electronics.

I weighed mine with about five gallons of gas, without me in the car and it was 4450, including the back seat.
