SSP seems to be the most experienced with the Getrag DCT clutch on this forum. You have chosen to repeatedly question their advice, and specifically their claim that the picture you show is not correct. I would suggest you go directly to Getrag, show them the picture of the snap rings you have and ask them if it is the proper installation. Please let us know their answer.

If I may:::
Perhaps you or your tech are installing the clutch wrong or are performing the adaptation process wrong. There has to be an underlining issue there. I have the 900lb Ssp installed and never had a light come on during adaptation other than the ones that were supposed to. Ive followed your thread and saw where Kris offered his advice and you had discounted it many many times. If I can offer my advice to you to help solve it all. Why don't you guys just pack it up and send it to Kris so it can be installed correctly(not saying it's not). This way all you have to do is put the tranny back in and re follow his adaptation process. Good luck. We all have issues w our cars but asking advice to everyone on here who most likely don't know didly about how the inner clutch works won't get your car fixed. It will separate you from everyone. Hope it all works out for you. Kris helped me and for that I'm very grateful. |

So now you await for a second opinion from Getrag, that will probably never come. FYI, Getrag doesn't build this clutch assembly. I have offered my help and reached out to you dozens of times.... I wish you the best moving forward with your vehicle. Kris |
