best mods for the money...

I'm debating what I should do first... I've always been a fan of changing the looks of the car while it's still in warranty, then start messing with the car out of warranty.

I'm avoiding a tune for now...

I was debating doing the BMS intake and charge pipe, as it seems to be one of the cheapest performance mods out there.

Debated exhaust, but they're fairly expensive for what you get (sound). So I'm considering just pulling the resonators and adding an xpipe.

Any suggestions?

JB4 + BCM
BMS Intake + Charge pipes (I prefer MSR but that's my personal preference)
Turner Muffler Delete

I have a few video's posted in the forums if you do a search of the Muffler Delete.

Exhausts are quite expensive, but well worth the money. Our recommendation would be an RPI GTM exhaust, although exhaust is all dependent on personal preference of tone and loudness.

Whatever you decide to go with, we're always here if you need anything. Just let us know.

Why RPI for $2500 when you get the same sound and results with a Turner Muffler Delete? Just saying ?

My only concern with turner is the drone - 13m5f10 said it's only around 1800 rpm ish, but I think 1800-2000 rpm is pretty much where the car sits when you're not pushing it.

I had an awe exhaust on my s6 and it sounded great, well built. They make one for the M5 but I don't see many people with it or commenting on it.

You are correct, RPI GTM & Turner Muffler both drone around 1800 which you are correct when cruising in 7th in comfort and D1 it sits in that 1800-2000 RPM range.

I've had to change to Sport Plus and S3 to keep it out of that range.

I believe iamvietness has the AWE exhaust and loves it. I haven't heard it in person yet since he is too busy for us ... LOL

Depends on what you are looking for
Best power
JB4 + BCM
Downpipes
Intakes
Charge Pipe ( no power but better reliability )
Methanol injection

No downpipes:
Jb stage 1 + intake

I heard the RPI when I was having my car lowered today--someone else's m5 was parked in one of the stalls and they had to move it. That shit was retarded loud on cold start... it was rattling the side of the building.

I ordered the BMS stage 1--will upgrade to jb4 when needed and the BMS intake... no charge pipes since im not doing meth (maybe one day).

Turner sounds the same as RPI GTM. Add Downpipes and both are obnoxiously loud..

I jizz everytime I watch this video.. MCarsFan has this setup. Its amazing.

http://wn.com/f10_m5_rpi_gtm_exhaust...5_in_the_world

I plan to go straight piped again since my cold start is deleted.

I love rolling my windows down and listening to Robs car drive by me. Too bad I can't get good GoPro footage. Way too much wind noise
