I'm going for the most subtle effect possible. Let's hear from all of you.

Silverstone or Singapore Grey?

Thanks for your participation.

Congrats!!

Be sure to go through all the photos of those colors in the photo compilation threads @ http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=632065

Both are great colors, but I vote for Singapore Grey if you're looking for the most subtle color, which darker colors tend to be.

Congrats. you are a happy man M5 is very expensive in Norway. Singapore Grey looks nice but it will be a lot of it. M5 is a special car maybe you can look at the BMW Individual exterior color options: I went for individual Champagne Quartz Metallic for my 535d Xdrive. Good luck Regards from Norway

Subtle will be a black or grey color like Singapore. And it will look better with the blue brakes.

I like the Singapore too. Silver BMW's do look good, but they are a dime a dozen; and although Silverstone is unique to M models (I believe); I also believe Singapore is unique to M5's (right now, likely will show up on the M6) so maybe a tad more special too.

Singapore. I can vouch for the fact that it is stealth. Looks great too. I am of course not biased .....

Silverstone all the way.

First, it looks better than any other color if you haven't washed the car that day (if you wash your car every day, then get black). Second, it will look better in a couple years because you won't see any of the chips on the hood or fenders. Third, it looks way better than any color with the blue calipers (except possibly Monte Carlo Blue). Fourth, I got ZERO tickets in 130,000 miles in my Silverstone M5 (also partly due to the two radar detectors and the laser jammer as well).

Silverstone is definitely an easier color to deal with when it comes to dirt. The dark grey will show dirt much easier. But it sounds like he wants as nonflashy a color as possible which silverstone wouldn't be.

Silverstone I reckon. Singapore looks a bit too stealth!! Silverstone is a lovely shade of silver!

so I just noticed your Origiinal post - go for the grey if you want as stealth as possible!

I would say to go with Silverstone. Both colors seem subtle really. Colors that arn't subtle are the MCB/Frozen colors.

But thats just my opinion.

+ The chrome sidevents seem to not "show" as much on lighter colors, more reason to get Silverstone. Unless you plan on changing those.

Singapore G is nice but I found it a little bland for my tastes, I would rather go with a SS or even Space Grey both will look great with the blue calipers.

I think a bright color would look nice in New York so go for Silverstone, Moonstone, Alphine White, Brilliant White or Frozen Silver

Silverstone. F10 body looks soo good in lighter colors. Easier to maintain.
A classic BMW M exclusive color.

Really you can't go wrong here - what interior were you thinking? That will play a large part in my recommendation.

I'm torn over interiors as well. It's the first time I've liked the standard interior colors over the individual colors. My heart says Sakhir Orange but my head says Black. I've never seen the Sakhir in person and I'm worried it will be too orange. It sure looks nice in the photos though. Particularly with the Individual Piano Black wood.

Yes, this:

The windows are going to be tinted fairly dark, so the interior color will hopefully not detract from the "stealth" appearance. It will just be a revelation when the passengers get in.

Sakir is really nice, I drove 2 cars with that interior in Spain. I would go for it but my wife would freak! It looks amazing with Singapore grey, check my photos in my signature.
