The wheels look good but lowering the car will make the them pop. Get a set of AC Schnitzer springs and it will drive just like stock with a 1" drop all around. DO NOT get H&R's

IF I lower it, it will be with the Dinan coilovers. I'm def getting the sway bars. So may just do the coilovers at the same time.

Bouncy and harsh. Spring rates seem off. Had them on my M5 and had to switch them out to ACS. Also had H&R on my E93 M3. Crap ride. Not a fan of H&R

Can't go wrong with HRE though! They look great on SG.

True on all accounts. I didn't realize how bad the ride was until I went KW! Dinans should be good as well.

Love the wheels, Phil, but I think you should refinish the lips a tinted brushed finish. The chrome lips takes your eye away from the center design of the wheel itself, especially since they're black and it's such a strong contrast. Love those HRE's though -- huge fan, but a nice tinted brushed finish on the lips would be perfect, IMO.

Regardless, car looks great!

Thanks C! I totally agree. Here's the question... Is it worth spending $2k to do it? That's what HRE quoted me.

C- I think part of the reason the center 'disappears' is because it's gloss... So it reflects light instead of absorbing. So I'm thinking if I change the centers to a satin finish ($700)...it will help to highlight the centers and not have such a contrast of deep dark (gloss black) against the bright polished lip.

Your thoughts ?
