ambient light increase?

anyone know how to increase the light strength of the ambient light inside the cabin? mines on max as it is barely visible. 2014 m5

Many of us faced the same issue, either upgrading the entire system or replacing the OEM LED modules will increase the brightness.
I went the LED route and I’m satisfied with the result, it does however require you to remove all 4 door panels to access the modules.

I got the kit from a company called benzinfabrik (www.benzinfabrik.com), they have multiple options. I chose the OEM color (orange, white) with increased output. The intensity can be adjusted via iDrive, my pics are not at the brightest setting.
I’m very satisfied and would recommend the set.
