Hmm, I paid cash for my E46 M3 when I bought it way back in 2003. Havent had an auto loan in the last 15 years Id say (rarely use a car if ever, living in Manhattan, but kept my e46 all along, love it too much haha.) ... I guess I'll find out if that hurts me when I get my F10 M5, which Im planning to do ED for in the spring of 2015. Cant hardly wait!

The only issue I got when I went for my 911 turbo s was:

The fiance director told me that banks are saying : " you never bought 180k+ car all of your previous cars were 60 -110k so we are scared to fiance you"

I just gave them 40k down and problem was solved.

So if you dont have recent auto history they will ask you to put 20% down for sure.....

If you need better try td auto loan.

Or go to local credit union.
I am actually doing a European Delivery. But I hear I have to go with BMW Finance with a loan or lease. Since I am getting a 2015 car, the lease residuals are not out yet for the M5. I wish I could go with another loan from another bank.

I saw euro delivery has 7 percent off msrp

If you configure and order a car I believe that you need to use bmw financial

Not 100 per cent on that

Yeah I have already been to a dealer who says need to use BMW financial to order a ED car. From US MSRP it's more like ~15% discount to get the ED Invoice. Somewhere around ~$78,900 on a base car w/no options.

Where did you get these numbers for the Euro Delivery? I am planning on doing one later this year.

You do not need to use BMW for a loan, I borrowed $30k from Pen Fed at 1.49% (BMW was offering 3%) for my ED. I just signed the check over to them and gave them a bank check for the balance. Any third party loan will cut you a Check the same way so as far as BMW is concerned they're paid in full.

You would need to use BMW finance to qualify for incentives.

I'm not sure on leases though.

Yeah that number sounds closer the 2015 M5 ED MSRP is USD 87,100.00. Invoice is much lower than that.
