For some reason the pic isn't showing on my browser...
BTW...watch out for the pot holes on Clara Barton Pkwy. They took out my front tire on the M5 on Monday night. The rim looks okay but I won't know until tonight when I have the replacement tire mounted. |

All roads in the area are a train wreck these days. I keep a close eye on the road ahead and keep away from potholes continuously. Every now and then I get caught off guard, hit a big one, and then stress about tires losing pressure for a couple days. So far so good. Fingers crossed.
Not sure why the pic wouldn't load...

The pic seems to be fine now.... wow.. I can't wait to see how they look on your Azurite! I like the tint, I think it will provide just the right amount of contrast to your paint. Are you going to go wider on the tires?

Got 'em - now I need to pick a place to get them mounted. Any suggestions from local folks? Might just take them to BMW of Rockville.

The most careful mounting I have ever seen was at Ye Old Wheel Shop in Elkridge. It is a hike, but every other place that has mounted a tire around this area has done some sort of scratching.

I get my wheels mounted at RRT racing in Dulles VA. Nice shop, great work, and confident that they wouldn't scratch my wheels. Might be a drive for you but its worth it. I had tires mounted on my OEM wheels once at BMW Fairfax and never again.

Wound up dropping it off with my man Beaver Ho at BMW of Rockville. They've always taken good care of me - esp since they came under new ownership.
Should have it back in an hour or so. Will post pix.

Here she is - you can see they got the offsets spot on - no need for spacers now.
I'm happy with how they came out - 21 would have looked a bit better, but I don't want to deal with that with the crappy roads around here. Now I want to lower my car a bit more... Might have to do the KW sleeve kit or Eibachs. Many thanks to John Morgan Evans of WPI Motorsports who I ordered these through. Couple interesting facts about the 601M btw - on my CP they are 10" wide on the rear, and 9" in the front, and the rears weigh 31.6 lbs off the car without tires, tpms, or center caps.

LOL yea yea - I dressed them when I got them home. The shop mussed 'em up a bit.
