Why no "M drivers package" option for the US F10 M5?

Hey all,

Besides the fact that you can't really drive above 85 mph in the US legally, what are some reasons BMW doesn't offer "M Drivers Package" option to the US buyers?
Yes, most people don't take their M5s to the track but it would still be nice to have the speed limiter removed and be able to drive 190 mph if people decided to do so.
Or is there any way you can get this option as an US buyer?
I would gladly pay extra for this...

Dinan software will eliminate the top speed limiter.. and you'll pay dearly for it

Me and others who have learned to code the F10 via ESYS have figured out how to remove the speed limiter.

I can remove the limiter for anyone in Miami in less than 5 minutes for no charge.

You can also DIY if you go to the coding thread in the F10 forum.

Great offer. Here are some great coding instructions if anyone is interested in doing this themselves.

Thanks for the link, it looks like there's many things that can be done via coding.

Does anyone know where to find the settings mentioned by stealth.pilot to remove the speed limiter via coding? I'd like to take my M5 to the track, so this would be pretty useful.
