Thanks for the write up, and congratulations on your epic car! I love the color! It would be good to do a video outside so we can really hear the exhaust sound. The echo in the video doesn't let the real sound be appreciated. I can only imagine the crazy torque on ur beast, congrats once again.

M-bitious,
Very nice post and definitely a really cool car. Really good of you to share this on the board! What you demonstrated with the traction control (at high speed) make me wonder if you can comment on your drive-ability at more 'natural' speeds around your area? Are you having to baby at lower speeds to keep it under control? Or is it still luxurious and compliant when you want it to be? Also, It is very cool that it sounds like your fuel economy at cruise has improved as a secondary impact. |

So last weekend I took some friends for a spin. Three of us in the car, when at 120 km/h a big bike pulled up behind me. Had the gearbox in D3, so I used kick down to go flat out. The bike couldn't keep up. It wasn't a big difference, but there was. Then we pulled a second time, and again the bike was falling behind a bit.
I was quite happy. I don't know too much about bikes other than they are very fast, and this was a sporty bike and looked very impressive. When we returned to the parking lot I asked if one of my passengers knew which bike it was. Answer: A Ducati 1098 That is just unbelievable. I know people will tell me he wasn't trying etc. He did do a downshift the second time. But even if he didn't go max, it is still impressive. My car does 140km/h to 240 kmh in about 8 seconds, so you are easily surprised Last edited by M-bitious; 04-25-2013 at 02:27 AM.. |

Nothing short of awesome. The Benz driver sure seemed surprised that he pulled on his so hard and there was nothing he could do about it.

Franz will certainly try to help you out. Being the owner of that MH5S, I can tell you this thing pulls....... unbelievable. A standard M5 will have no chance against this at all. Hope you'll join the Stage 4 club.
