Bought the wife a new car

Bought the wife a 2015 Audi SQ5 in Glacier White Metallic. I was hesitant to get something other than a BMW but after driving and spending some time with the SQ I have fallen in love with it. Almost as much as the wife lol. Some pics and a video of the exhaust below. Thanks for reading

Mods as of now:

H&R lowering springs
powder coated wheels black
CQuartz coating with full paint correction
AWE Touring exhaust

On Order:

Blacked out emblems from TAG Motorsports
AWE non-resonated downpipes

Looking good! I will post the pictures of my wife's SQ5 up later next week. I'm getting all of her mods done next Friday now that the weather is finally improving. Vehicles are almost identical.

2014 Jaguar F-type v8s convertible Black
2013 BMW M5 MCB
1998 GMC K2500 w/454 Patriot Blue

Right now I am preferring the Audi SUV to the other SUV options. I assume you cross shopped the X3/X5?

We were looking at 14-15 Q7s as well but the wife is 5 foot tall, very small girl and we don't have kids yet so we ruled the Q7 out as to big. Love that SUV though.

I got my wife a 2014 Q5 2.0T
And did the APR tune from dealer, and intakes. Noticeable improvement and still get 35mpg highway

Shes been around me long enough she knew what to expect plus she thinks shes cool rolling around in a modded SQ5.

I had to do something to get her off my back about driving the M5

Know 2 ppl with Q5 and SQ5 and they prefer the GIAC tune.
Been hearing a few too many bad reviews with the APR on the SQ5 (rough idle, long crank, etc)

I second the motion to skip APR. My preference for the SQ5 is Unitronic. Fantastic little crossover and wouldn't want to ruin it with crap software, from a crap company with a long, troubled, and questionable history.

Wow never heard this about APR before. I just want a tune that is undetectable and I don't have to worry about voiding the warranty on a brand new car with 4k miles.

Wife's also got the SQ. Awesome cars, love the mods you've done. When you get a chance would like to hear in in flight, up/downshifts. Hers is still stock.
