Anyone Auto-crossed their M5 yet?

Just curious. Local car club is doing a driving school and autocross event. It's an annual event they do to kick off the season and a bunch of guys from work are going. I'm considering it.

Don't ever do Autocross with an M5. WAY too heavy! I made that mistake with my E60 once. I needed new tires on all four corners after just one day. Autocross is all about technical driving. They are made for light cars. If my CCA Chapter has an Autocross event then I would usually just go to hang out with my friends, eat their food and brag about how I would destroy them on a real track. Lol!

zacly. autocross your miata. an m3 is already too big a car to autocross. bringing the m5 to autocross is like asking The Rock to thumb wrestle you.

X2 - I almost got talked into doing this with my E60. My old C6 Z06 would much more suited to an autocross track.
