Same noise here.
Just after the break in service at 2200km
This should not happen in a + 100.000 car

I've got it as well. Super annoying and very loud. Not even going to bother with the service department.

Besides, it only happens when I'm stopping at a red light downtown and a hot chick is in the crosswalk.

does the cold weather have a major contribution to making squeaky brake? because as the temperature drops to -5 these days, mine's making annoying noise every single time I touch the brake pedal. (btw, i had 31000km and hearing this squeaky brake noise for the first time)

I have the exact same symptom, MY14, 900miles.

I'm almost due for break in service, but since it is infrequent not sure if I bring it up I can reproduce it at the dealer...

What should I do?

They will tell you it's a symptom of the large, high performance breaking system. They have been instructed by BMW not to replace any brake parts. The only cure is to find a safe place to get up to speed and do a couple cycles of hard braking to clean the rotor surface. I did a track day on October 5th (lots of hard braking obviously) and my brakes have not squeaked since then.

Try a couple hard stops. Sometime a small rock/debris or something gets in to the pad. A few hard stops from a moderate speed will usaly clean then for a whole . If it only gets worse then change the pad.

I've only had my car in either semi-cold or freakin' cold weather so far...it didn't squeal so much in the semi-cold...but in the freakin' cold it def squeels coming to an intersection. Usually a quick lift of the foot for a split second and reapply will allow me to stop in silence. Never seems to be when I first start out...gotta be rolling for a little bit, then it starts. I'm at about 2000 miles now.
