Okay I know this is going to sound (or read) weird.

I think my beast has a fetish for daylight!

Let me explain. The sunroof cover for some reason keeps opening to halfway on its own.

If I close it, park the car (normally overnight) next morning it's half open again.

Am I sleep walking?

And before you say have the dealer check, yes I agree, but just wanted to se if it has happened to anyone else.

I just know the dealer is going to have an issue replicating it, it has no set pattern.

I recall month ago a member mentioned the same thing.
After visiting the dealer, they updated the software and issue was solved. So yes, you need to visit your dealer

Check the sunroof lining, my previous 13 M5 did the same thing and the lining needed to be replaced. BMW replaced it without argument but it was slightly damaged.
