'BMW Individual' sign (door jam)?

Hi guys, good morning to everyone today.

Can anyone tell me that has gotten a individual or special order color if they got any BMW Individual insignias on their cars such as the door jam ? It it anywhere else?

My car hasn't arrived yet and I ordered a special order color

Nope , just the Individual sticker under the hood.
In order to get any Individual "stickers/door sills etc" you'd have to either order
a "true" Individual car offered/build by BMW or buy the parts separately (may need
a VIN of an Individual car depending on the part you buy) .
I just took delivery of my M5 in Brilliant White and Full/Extended Cohiba Brown (ie
Individual order/build) .

OoooooooOOOO!! How do you like the brilliant white?? This is what i ordered!?!? Is it better in person than in pics??

Did you have to pay 5k or 1800? I don't know how much they are going to charge me until it gets here, it's an individual color but also special order

5k is Brilliant White as it's an Individual color not on the standard order sheet (which includes a few "standard" Individual exterior colors) .
Brilliant White is certainly the most expensive white you'll ever buy , but it is quite stunning in real life. Has a slightly different look/shine/sparkle depending on light/location.
It is very understated and only folks who know do realize how rare it is. I had many people complement on the color and I am very happy how well it works with the Interior.

Not sure I understand you not having a price until it gets to your dealer. Your dealer will submit the build request and get a quote from the BMW sales desk. There's no secret to it or you having to wait until the car is delivered.

I have a few high resolution shots at , but as you can see the pictures don't do the color justice . I will try to take some better pictures once it's back state side in a few weeks.

Oh and the "Individual sticker" on your build sheet is the one under the hood.

Awesome info and thanks for the pics. I will review them all but I have heard what you said is true, that you have to see it in person to get the real affect of how it changes in the light. I'm excited, my car shows up at the dealer tomorrow and then just has to wait for an oil pump

The dealer had a hard time with the color ad originally thought (and ordered me) frozen white which was 5k for sure, in the ordering system before it got a VIN it referenced as an individual color and I speculated it would be 1800. I'm afraid to ask and my wife still thinks its 1800 so I'm the real problem I don't want to beleive it's 5k so ill try to talk myself into it when I see it in person. I do these things, I am my own worst enemy but its all part of the crazy chase that I love - I think we all are the same in some way shape or form that are on this board


You have definitely made my last day of waiting to see my monster more exciting!

I'll even settle with just an individual sticker under the hood if the color looks 1/2 as great as you say it does
