Bent Rim..
Gents,
I have recently found out after a road-force balance to determine a highway vibration I have been noticing, that my right rear rim (20" Black 343m) is bent. It is hard to see at a standstill, however when it is spinning it is quite visible. Any suggestions on what the next step would be to handle this unfortunate issue? I asked my dealer and was quoted $2409.58 for just the one oem rim.. Any help would be much appreciated, considering this is quite a pricey proposal from BMW.

Hopefully someone can chime in with an actual price, but that quote sounds incredibly high. I would either consider a repair or look elsewhere for a better price.

Check out ebay. Just make sure they're real and not reps. Btw how did you notice the bend on the rear rim? Usually you can notice the fronts with steering wheel vibration. Did the car make any vibrations from the bend? |

Yes..astronomically high price from the dealer, I was shocked as well.
Yes I have been feeling a slight vibration in the steering and in the seats at certain speeds. Even though it is in the rear- I believe considering the suspension/steering is so dialed in on our cars, that any imperfection is amplified throughout. Okay thanks, I will look for a repair shop and on eBay.

They must have quoted you for all four wheels.
