Final decisions on rims !

Firstly thanks to all those who have replied and shared offsets. I am getting very close to a final decision on rims

Sizes will be 10x20 F 11.5x20 R, moving to 275/35 and 305/30 possibly Pirelli Trofeo R or Michelin P4S

My offset choice is et28 or 27 F and et 32 or 33 R. Thinking of light concave but not too expensive my two current favourites are BC Forged RZ05 or RZ21, satin black

I think I have done the maths at the back to manage inside and outside clearance which is the slight Unknown

Any comments greatly appreciated

The car is a late 14 CP with Dinan roll bars KW V3, the rest is stock apart from OE Carbon diffuser. I want an RKP front lip but don't like the price !

Why not go with 11" rears? The extra half inch will only add weight and give unnecessary tire stretch.

Porsche fit 295's on 11.5 and 305/30 on 12.0 20's. So it's not aggressive stretch plus if I go with a tyre like the Trofeo's they are a little bigger as well. Oh and they will look a little 'fatter' from the back. Regarding weight it will be negligible difference, less than the difference between tyre weights. I guess the same questions could be asked about 10 or 9.5 at the front. I prefer the feel of a tyre on a wider rim, generally a bit sharper with better turn in

BC Forged RZ05, Matt Black 11.5 x 20 et 32 and 10x20 et 28

Awaiting drawing to decide on the dish and bolt pad thickness, coolio

Congrats! Make sure you post pics. Any reason why you are going matte instead of gloss black?

A good question, a while back I fitted gloss black wheels and didn't like the look with shiny tyres, I think matt (well satin really) will look more like factory finish and work better after a valet

I changed my order as I was thinking that BC Forged RZ21's were the same as signature SV104's and they are not the same design. I like the BC forged RZ05's but decided in the end to go for Signature SV104's now deciding on finish, I might move to Brushed black Tint

I have decided on brushed black, a picture here with brushed Black tinted on an M3, from the M3 section. Interestingly this car runs 19" front and 20" rear. You can see how the finish changes in light. Slight bronze hue in some lights. Looks like I will be the first M5 to run with SV104's. The bottom picture is a 20" rim and is deep dish the M5 on 11.5 will be deeper dish than this

Tks, I am pretty sure et 28 will fit on the inside with KW V3's (non club sport) is there room for another 2mm on the inside with your et26's ?

I intend to run 275/30 20 when the 265's wear out

I am having second thoughts about the lighter brushed black with white, it might look a little washed out. There is a darker brushed black, I am also quite drawn to gloss black with silver and black cars with these style wheels on.

The look of the wheel changes with gloss to emphasise the edges and looks more classic race ?

It's running KW V3 with Dinan roll bars ride heights are 370mm F and 353mm R this is about 10-15mm lower than CP ride heights

I have until Monday to finalise my wheel colour
