This is not no fantasy racing LA-M55 you have to show your car doing some light work then you can talk smack. Tell Dan you are new here this is a forum where you learn and share views and not talk smack till you can back it up.

The fitment is Perfect!!!!!!! And quality is excellent

It will sound crazy as i will take the valves that open and close off so this will sound better than the Race Exhaust and to top it off with fabworx dp. It will sound really Insane!!!!!

I have full Fabworx 3.5" custom made exhaust no bends like Eisenmann but totally different sound also. The Eisenmann has a deep sound which i love this will be perfect for 700hp car.

Are you kidding me? we dont "all use fabworx dp". some of us use fabworx cause you can pick them up for $6xx brand new on ebay. Most of us spend the extra penny and pick up a set of AMS.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-M5-M6-F0...tYBU9l&vxp=mtr

Fabworx lists these every week for this starting bid and usually there is no bids so u can get them for that price.
I think you may have understood him when he said "all". He is purely speaking about his crew and friends. There quite a few people running Fabworx downpipes as they have been a good product as well as priced affordably.

No reason to spend 1500-2000 on down pipes when I can pick up a working / quality set for under $1000.

Seems like a good combo the Fabworx/Eisenmann. I have been researching downpipes and they all seem like they are missing something. Whether it's a mounting point, O2 bungs in the wrong location, O2 bungs too short for all oem heat prevention components, etc.

The only one I have found that seems to meet all criteria is the Active Autowerke set. Now if I'm reading this bickering correctly it seems that Fabworx has indeed revised their O2 bung situation. Does anyone here have a new set that can confirm if this is true? if that is the case then there would be two downpipe solutions imo when it comes to oem integration. Either way I'm going to pair them with a Swaintech coating for maximum heat reduction.

Thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate it! Those pics really help. I was looking at the sale page on ebay and some pics had the lower position so wanted to make sure. Can you confirm whether or not the pre cat O2 bungs are long enough to accept the oem sleeve cups for the heat shield?

It really is. Sound is sick at high RPM! That plus the turbo whistle makes it an intoxicating combo.

I highly recommend ceramic coating the dp's as they are so much thinner than stock ones. The radiant heat will increase without header wrap or ceramic coating. I used Cerakote for mine
