Wind noise from drivers side mirror (TSB?)

Is it possible for a member to post a TSB for this issue. I was not able to find it by searching. Thanks.

I have had that problem. Apparently was from the clear bra on the side mirror.
If you have a clear bra on the side mirror, try to remove it and see if the wind noise is still there.

Husain.

I have this same noise and NO clear bra. It's annoying as hell. Let me know if anyone had it successfully fixed.

I had it too. It was from the clear bra in my case. The front end bra comes from a kit. We just made a custom piece that was bigger and the noise stopped.

No clear bra. It is pretty damn annoying. Without a TSB or any other member having a record of it being replaced, it will be tough to convince my dealer of the problem.

Has anyone ever located this TSB? Getting the same driver side mirror wind noise in the 14 I just bought.

Damn. Seeing this post is making me rethink adding paint protection film to the mirror covers after they're repainted.

Same issue with mine due to clear bra. You can try a piece of masking tape at the gap between the mirror cover and the front bezel piece of the mirror to check if it goes away before you remove the clear.
