RS7/S8 4.0 TFSI vs M5 F90 4.4 Biturbo vs Merc E63SAMG Vs Tesla P100D

RS7 Performance/S8 Plus/Tuned eg APR vs Incoming M5 2018 stock ?!
Actually some dealers have the M5 in stock form now! (No pun intended)

Since I just joined the “tuned 4.0 TFSI club” quoting VIC55 recently!
Unbeknownst to me there’s one!!

Granted my S8 will never be as fast as RS7 due to weight and I also heard turbos and intake have different component!! Bigger on RS7 side than S8!!

I imagine M5 F90 hitting 800 horses pwoer after tuning !!

Gosh
That RS7 is a monster!!
Tesla P100D couldn’t beat it! Unbelievable!!
And the funny thing he was flaunting his pops and crackles at end of race!!

Stock vs stock the F90 will win on all accounts; dig, roll, trap speed....

The difference to me is the polarizing looks of the sportback vs the sedan view that the F90 has. The RS7 just has a presence to it that I have not really been able to duplicate in a 4 door car (my ownership perspective). A tune and that RS7 is incredible thru the driveable ranges of the rpm and from a dig.

But as I stated, it wont be close stock vs stock from a speed test.

My RS7- its not that bad LOL

This. BMWs are cookie cutter cars at the moment till they get back to 04-11 where they pushed boundaries. RS7 commands the attention, Where as the F10 will blend in with the crowd.

Will be interesting to see how the RS7 adapts tuning wise to a much faster group with MB/BMW.

RS7 really has a great presence and I've always loved the design. Certainly stands out in a crowd.

Gosh!
Yeah true
Once a realm ECU time is available for the F90 it will be in the 2.5/130+ easy!!

I was told that even my Audi S8 with APR II can do sub 3 this is Tesla territory and I know what I am talking about because I owned one for 6 months then got so bored because I felt that I was driving a dead “beast” not breathing!! Soulless of you will indulge me!! At least that’s how I felt!!

Well now that the OP adjusted his thread my post looks funny LOL ... not really.

The RS7 tuned is no slouch whatsoever and add in the stage 3 and its a 134-135 car in the lower 10's.

While the P100 ran strong, did anyone see the trap speed variances? 120 vs 127... That track was not forgiving as both cars have trapped better.

Well,
Let’s bump this and update it!

I am waiting for M5 F90 due to arrive by end of year!!
Will post consulted to S8
Honestly loved S8 APR Stage II
Sheer insane power and doubt M5 Nom comp or even comp will come close but, S8 left something to be desired in the handling department!!
