Yes, but on top of that location matters. RWD cars will be in less demand in cold climate, unless it's a summer car they plan on storing for the winter.

Also, what's the point of showing a price tag without mileage, options, or if CPO or not. Pointless.

I paid $53k for a fully loaded 2014 with 32k miles. Exec, Comp, Lighting, CCB, full leather, M Performance Exhaust, Frozen black. Mid 60's at this point is too high with auction prices being $50k max.

Congrats! You've got a great steal then. Did you get it at an auction or dealership (BMW or random used car lot) ? CPO? Why use Auction prices as a barometer for general value of the car? I don't think that many buyers are aware of the risks of auctions, have it be government and police auctions, repossessions, etc. You may get a steal from a bank repossession and the car being perfect, but how many M5's are out there at public auctions?

Check Autotrader. I did a search on 2014 M5's < 30k miles any distance from San Francisco and it came up with...

Price Range of Results: Highest: $85,000 | Lowest: $48,900 | Average: $63,609

Same search within 500 miles of Denver Colorado = 2

Price Range of Results: Highest: $59,995 | Lowest: $59,995 | Average: $59,995

I haven't even listed my car anywhere other than this forum and its classified section. People all over the country are PM'ing me and many are lowballing. One person asked me to ship the car in an enclosed truck because he didn't want to drive it home and put any miles on it, even when he was only 750 miles away (Seattle). Brokers, dealers, and private flippers trying to steal a deal. As soon as I call them out on it, no reply or follow up. I'm not asking for mid 60's and simply $60k or close to it within reason.

This. All 14 Comps with under 30k miles are in 60s. Buying one from an private enthusiast vs dealer trade in/auction has its worth as well. I normally price my cars about $5k over market when selling because the cars I sell are worked out. I fix every little issue, mod them to look beautiful, detail professionally, etc. All of that had worth to buyers, and my private cars normally sell FAST.

For reference, I just bought my 2013 M5 base 30k for $46k. I got a great deal though.
I beat ya, fully loaded 13 with CPO for 44,8. They're coming down fast.

For some reason the BMW forums are the worst place to advertise used F10 BMW M5s. Low ball cheap buyers. I recommend you advertise it on your local CL and Autotrader and ignore the value comments on this forum. If your car is as clean as it appears the first real buyer to look at it will buy it. These cars are very reliable and are worry free to at least 100k miles.

I'd like to think so.

its a beautiful car
if you find the right buyer and there is a right buyer for every car then you should get within 5k of your initial asking price
glws
the car at the sonic dealer above is a smoking deal
the benefit for most people buying from a dealership would be to take advantage of the financing most dealers offer
