TPMS on Canadian M5
The M5's sold in Canada don’t have TPMS sensors inside the wheels however the US models have them.
I was wondering if I buy the BMW compatible TPMS sensors from Bimmian, will it transmit the data and can I view it on idrive (I have already coded the car to show individual tire pressure and Temp to show) http://www.bimmian.com/Tire-Pressure...W-F10-5-Series Anyone has done this or have some info? There is no replacement for using a tire pressure gauge. The one time I had a low tire (nail) in the M5 (wheel speed based Canadian TPMS) alerted me of the problem. Was driving on a 400km stretch of highway. Happened 3/4 of the way home.

I also encountered puncture (not nail, but a piece of steel) on my M5 last winter, the FTM did its job but in the end, I had to pull into a gas station and wait for a flatbed tow to a bmw dealer.
