Totally. I dyno'd stock 641whp. So, who's to say there's any gain at all. Put it side by side in a race.
Rob, are you sure 641whp? I think that may be extrapolated crank...544whp assuming 15% drivetrain loss is 641 crank. I dynoed yesterday 535whp, 487 ft-lbs, stock.
Posted just before me!! Still, these beasts are way under-rated. FWIW, Rob and I got results on the same dyno but different days.

543whp is very impressive for a stock car!
I'm not overly impressed with the Hartge figures.
Maybe if it's a 82hp gain over stock - then we are talking over 700hp at the crank.....!

No they are saying the M5 is already making 640hp stock since it does 540 whp. This tune does nothing.
As a comparison, the CTSV which advertise 555hp only dyno 490 whp.
2012 GTR Which advertise 530hp only dyno 430 whp.
BMW is really working their magic

The only thing I have liked from Hartge is their wheels. I know they are heavy, but they look good.

Oh, the old V10 Z4 was real nice too!

Hartge is classed as a auto manufacturer in Germany and the cars are registered as a Hartge, not a BMW (at least that's what they used to do). That's why they also have to remove the BMW badges, as it's not a BMW anymore.

Yaaahhh! Let's make some power increase claims and provide no evidence to back it up!

Where are the dyno's, and comparo vids? :

0-62 mph in 4.2 seconds? Am I completely confused about this. I thought the M5 stock was faster than that. If these numbers are correct than that tune was well worth it. NOT

Tried Yotube?

This shows the difference in acceleration before/after the tune.

And some more info at
http://www.hartge.de/UploadPDF/F10%2...2011500560.pdf
and http://www.hartge.de/ under M --> F10 M5 -- > Engine
for pricing/video
Hartge is a very reputable tuner and their tunes/products have always been top-notch
It's just a shame that Turner is not doing more with them like they've been in the past.
I'd rather use their tune than any other two man garage company offering them today....

Oy Vey. Forget about 0-60. This is 2013. Who the heck still punches from 0.
Look at RaceLogic 17.87sec in previous video from 50mph-155mph. Difference from stock is over 2 sec. 2 Sec difference is eternity at those speeds.
Can your M3 DCT do 17.87sec from 50mph-155mph? Probably NOT

I agree....you can keep adding power, but traction becomes the weak link. Car is still FUGLY.

Cool, i can do my own cars now! I think they just trying (and failing hard) to capitalize on the good BMW models making them supposedly "even better". But anyways, good luck to peeps who dig such stuff, to me looks cheap.

Hi
a tuning friend from russia told me something interresting about the m5 from hartge

there was a m5 full tuned from hartge tuning box new downpipes new exhaust system and hartge said it should have now 690hp.
in the evening he drive a race against a m5 from another company with only ecu tuning for 620-640hp and they equally fast.
