How does VDC damage get reported?
Ive read on many forums, but all the info in conflicting, maybe someone can sort it out. Does transport damage fixed at VDC (not caused by owner in Europe) show up anywhere? Does it show up on a Vehicle Inquiry report, Carfax etc?
Main reason being if it does, then can't we fight for some compensation for diminished value?

Won't show up on a CarFax , if the damage is significant BMW will figure something out.
If it's just paint / dents etc they'll be professionally removed/fixed at the VPC and your car will be better than new once it arrives at the dealer. BMW is usually pretty forthcoming with any damage caused during transport etc, so I hope there's really no reason for you to worry.
