Dude, yes I think it's safe! LOL!
Yeah stupid rain man, that totally blows! Without the rain, I'm sure you'll be in the 10's. You should also try one run by yourself with Launch Control just to see what happens. You never know. But yeah, seriously awesome launch in that video and superb pictures. Almost makes me want to go back to Black. Your car sounded like a "Beast!" Wish you got that cocaine interior though. Sorry, Pkilla's in my head again. Now the next time I ride with you. I'm gonna just say "Smoke him."

I might try it as soon as I get the car out of service.

He's running drag radials on the back. They only come in 19's.

Salma as in Salma Hayek? One of the most beautiful women on the planet? Good choice. Hitting the 10's would be very appropriate with a name like that.

The overall diameter of the tire between the front and rear needs to be the same, if not the transmission freaks out and keeps on kicking in your traction control. Since the drag radial is taller 19" was as close as I could get. Still have traction control issues, but I just disable it completely and that solves the problem.

They also come in 20's. But they are 1.5" taller. So they are numerically lowering your final drive ratio which is counter-productive for drag racing. Like Green said they also mess with the shift points and traction control.

Nice. By the way LC isn't too difficult to engage. Try it out on the street and let off (by letting off the throttle and letting go of the DCT lever)- just to get used to engaging it.
You'll probably get upper 10's in good conditions.

LC does nothing to help traction. The 3000-3500 rpm launches just blow the tires off. The DRs might hold, I never got a chance to try last year. The problem is if the other guy stages quick then you have mere seconds to activate LC.
