My 2014 M5 Deal

I am a long time lurker on the forum, and finally pulled the trigger to get one of the remaining 2014 M5s last night.

I got a lot of useful info from the pricing forum, I would like to share some of the details I've got:

2014 M5 MCB with BANG & OLUFSEN SOUND SYSTEM, EXECUTIVE PACKAGE, LIGHTING PACKAGE, 343 black wheels

MSRP: $112,925
Selling price: $100,495 (about 11% off)
MF: 0.00061
Residual: 61%

The beast is a blast to drive even without the competition package.

Nice! How'd you get the MF so low? MSD's? Was this a car on the lot?

Yes the car is on the lot.

We started with the standard bay area markup MF: 0.0017, then negotiated to 0.0013 quickly. I did 7 MSD which brings it down to 0.00081.

Fortunately the company I work at has a corporate deal with BMW NA, where we get $1500 rebate and another 0.00020 MF on the best negotiated deal which brings the MF to 0.00061.

I am not doing one pay.

This is not a terrific deal compare to some of the other members in SoCal was able to get.

But when I was in BMW SF yesterday morning, I saw $30K markups on the new M3s and M4s (with no test drive allowed), and they are selling like hot cakes here. I am considering my deal on the M5 fair.

I just signed my lease contract on Friday and I tried to apply the same BMW NA fleet incentives from my company. The offer is $1500 for cash, finance or lease deals for 2014 or 2015 BMW M5 cars. In addition, going with a lease through BMWFS, take an additional 0.0020 MF off.

Unfortunately I didn't read fine print, I couldn't take advantage of this when I closed on my deal, since I am doing European Delivery which is excluded from this incentive offer.

Fortunately I was able to score a 2015 M5 for ED invoice and leverage BMWFS standard 62% residual on a 36/10 lease. My MF was 0.00116 as BMWFS pays my 2nd payment and marks up the MF 0.00035.

They raised the ED markup... It was .00030 when I bought in June. Congrats.

ED is amazing. Google Deutche Alpenstrasse. It's WAY better than all Autobahn driving.

What dealer did you work with? These deals are encouraging! I walked into BMW SF and they wouldn't even give me the price on their Service Manager's car with like 8k miles. Too shady.

Assuming 36 month lease I calculated it at just less than $1K/mo with just drive offs.
