Need some quick advice for those of you that have taken your front splitters off

So my car is in the bodyshop having some work done following someone hitting me....

I know that the bodyshop is worried about cracking my RKP front splitter when trying to remove it...The whole of the front bumper is currently in the "cooker" at a very low temp, I suppose to try and soften the 3m tape that is currently holding it and they will try to pull it off tomorrow

Does anyone else have any other tips for removing it without actually damaging it that I can pass on to the bodyshop?

THnaks!!

Bru

how long have you had your RkP installed? I don't think there will be a damage for removing rkp.. Try a yarn/thread and go through the 3M area.. or you can use some plastic pry tools
