Dinan Upper Control Arms
I'm considering installing Dinan upper control arms to reduce understeer at the track. I'm currently running Michelin SC2s with Dinan sway bars set to medium. Car corners flat and the rear stays hooked up.
Anyone running the Dinan upper control arms willing to provide reviews and or comments? Thanks! |

The Dinan arms are just rebranded BMW OEM Parts:
Control arm, camber setting, upper left -20MIN 31127849503 Control arm, camber setting, upper right -20MIN 31127849504 The BMW arms gave me an additional -0.35 degrees of negative camber, still not enough but much better than before. I'm running them with Dinan Coilovers, Dinan Sway Bars, Spoon Sports Rigid Collars, and 275/305 tires. The car feels amazing now. The car understeers much less now and the front tires aren't wearing so badly only the outside shoulders. |

A lot of the F chassis cars come with incorrect upper control arms. Unfortunatly, it is never known until an alignment is performed after suspension work. Depending on the chassis, you will get the available options for the correct upper control arm that is needed. Only 2 options exist per chassis. |

Wow! Thanks for the replies and information! I didn't realize that the Dinan control arms were BMW OEM parts. Does it seem strange that Dinan would resell OEM and not mention why?

Lots of BMW's come from the factory with different "correction" arms installed. Each car is different, and there is no way to tell until you change the alignment specifications. |
