I tried a long random street drive with the app running, and found when I returned that the app had automatically registered a single lap time for a configuration in the road that had me doing a 180 degree loop from a surface street onto the freeway and then driving under the overpass that the surface street used to access the freeway. So, I guess the app will start giving you lap times when you pass a point on track that it recognizes after activation? Did you set your finish line or did you let the app set it? |

I believe it starts your lap at the point you press start.

I'm guessing, but I'd think if you press start in the pits before you enter the track, the app would put your start point where you first repeat your location on the track. But that's what is so sweet with this, all it takes is a single push of a button to start it, and that makes it possible to start wherever you like when you go on track.

I'm looking forward to people posting their 0-60 times.
This app is interesting. If the car doesn't deliver the goods, you have data to take to the dealership. I bet we will see times as low as 3.6 from stock cars. |
