Stage 2 BPM Sport tune. 664/627
Finally made it to the dyno, didn't have a lot of time.
Allmotor was taking to long with his monster. Need a few pulls My mods are: MSR Intake GTHaus full system w/LXR midpipe ER Catless Downpipes Stage 2 BPM Sport Flash tune. After looking into all my options, this was the option I chose. Mike the owner, just knows what he is doing. Picks up his phone when you call etc etc etc. 91 octane with Torco (I run Torco full time) comes out to about 94.5 octane with a full tank (which is what was tested here) After the pulls I was getting some white smoke so called it early after 3 runs. 5th gear pulls, I don't have the 155MPH limiter removed thats why you see the graph halting at 6200 rpms. Dyno: Specialty Z - Where alot of members take there cars including Allmotor, Terry from BMS etc.

Good work man - we can get it to 700 with some minor tweaks. I can connect with Mike and make this happen with his help.

I am soon
You make the best intakes. And to be fucking honest if you didn't I would still buy one from you just because your such a likeable dude. And its funny to see everyone copying your stuff, and not just intakes haha. I appreciate it man, I really tried to do this right this time. I had one hell of a adventure with my 14 550i trying to get it dialed in. And just so everyone knows, I do not plan to do the Next level stuff to my car.. I just wanted the best possible performance with out having to upgrade the clutches / meth and JB4. I'll take 670rwhp all day long w/out the complications and Transmission upgrade costs. But hey to each his own.

I have a 15 also with about 2700 miles and have been subscribing and researching the best methods of upping the performance without adding crazy boost. I like that you did it with only a flash tune and minor mods!

But for the added cost of 10-15k for the next level stuff: Clutch upgrade Turbo upgrade Meth Axles (soon people are going to start breaking them) so add this to the list. JB4 / BCM Install on all. High 9 low 10 monster, worth the price for some, not for me. And with all that, there are some complications that me personally I wouldnt know how to deal with. Allmotor is very knowledgeable with engineering so for him to be able to work on his own car, fix and tweak things is simple. In my case there is no way, and maf sensor this, fuel pressure that, etc etc.. not in my field of expertise. Im in the advertising biz lol. So I decided to take my 10k and put it towards carbon fiber wheels and bigger wider tires.

Graph has a few more potential its a spike whp. I think holding 600whp will benefit the car more. If you can have them revise it to a smoother powerband your car would be a freaking beast!!!

great suggestions.
I'll check with my tuner see what he says. Or if he reads this I'm sure he can say something. who needs power below 5k anyways.. when your on it, your always above 5k.

combatbmw nice congrats!
why wasnt the speed limiter removed? Thats part of the ECU Flash option (why most ppl get it too) my buddy dd1981 doing 167mph in Mexico with his EnzoTuned on his 335 though lol ..

This was a semi-conservative Stage II tune with downpipes - with no added ignition timing advance whatsoever. We were also pretty conservative with the torque limiter above 6K RPM, which can be easily raised. I prefer bigger turbos when we do this, as the stock turbos are reaching their threshold. There is, without a doubt, more power on the table here. Also keep in mind that these cars become heatsoaked pretty quickly when sitting stationary on a dyno, so actual HP output on the street is likely higher. It's by no means being pushed, so if the OP wants more power/torque, this isn't an issue. Nice runs and enjoy the car in good health.

Mike: if you raised his car more would the clutch start slipping? Being a dct ? I think max you cn get out of the clutch is 670whp beyond that bye-bye clutch. |
