jb stage 1 gains?
1) i want to know how does the car behaves with jb stage tune for m5?
2) are there any drive issues? 3) any cel? 4) abrupt throttle changes? 5) with stock 4 psi boost increase bms has posted dyno numbers with about 70whp increase while they advertise only 30-50whp, don't understand this? 6) considering stock 0 to 60 time is 3.7 and 1/4 11.8-11.9 sec what should i expect in terms of improvement with jb stage 1 at 4 psi? i was thinking about ess flash tune but their dyno numbers show 15% increased hp over stock, jb stage 1 with 4 psi is 12% over stock so the difference is only 3% between ess and jb stage 1, ess being higher. |

Jb4 is pretty advance install so I will stick with stage 1 for now and maybe go with jb4 or flash tune. My ess flash tune in my 650xi was a champ stock 1/4 12.8 at 106mph, stage1 flash 1/4 mile 11.8 at 118 at da 3300.

if your looking for the 1st step , i'd say just do the jb4 alone !
the bcm is for a more perf orientated modder , in answer to your Q's the jb4 alone will basically give you a shit ton more power across the range and you will love every sec of it ! you can alway add a bcm at anytime ! i may be mistaken here but i was under the impression it's 3.5 lbs boost and anywhere from 70-80 hp |

I'm lost, for some, the JB4 with BCM is a waste of money since if you don't have a ZCP, you re pretty limited to the first map,eventually with the 2nd but some issues in their log so since I'm considering a JB4, I'm asking the same...
