crashed M5 - feel sorry for the guy and the car

This is what i know:

- car was sent for a test drive to Austria, Vienna

- it belongs to BMW Munich

- test driver already owns an M5 which is why BMW made extra effort so that he can test have a test drive

- not sure how much he will have to pay, probably only a little sum

- driver is fine physically but under shock of what happened

Probably went full throttle on cold tires or slippery road. Not a good time of year to be test driving in Austria.

This car has much more of a bite in MDM mode than the by comparison tame E60 M5.

good opportunity here for someone to source some used CCBs

Beautiful car. I am in NY/NJ right now with PSS's. Car slides around quite well.. the tires don't stick very well - even in 45deg F weather.

I second that opinion. Just went full throttle on the road, in 45degree weather. Car violently flew on the opposite line, and I counter steered just in time. Anyways. This car is very dangerous in the cold.

Yeah this car is a lot more dangerous than your old one. Handle with care!

And whatever you do don't use MDM mode in Winter.

Frozen blue and CCBs? And probably even CP. Wow, BMW must've liked this guy. Liked.

Was using it tonight doing going WOT from 40 car handled fine and stopped fine in my op... Not enough that I'd take risks but well enough I'd do it if there was no traffic.
