Do you still have the ability to adjust he dampening electronically when you put on the eibach Springs? What's the difference between Eibach springs and the kw HAS KIT

Do you still have the ability to use EDC after installing the springs? What's the difference between just eibach springs vs the KW HAS kit ? Any feedback ?

Couple questions. Have 315s r888s on 343 rear, curious if they will fit with 10mm spacer. Heard from others they fit fine without. Just curious. Also, has anyone tried M6 343 rears with no spacer?

Yes you can still use EDC with either Eibach springs or HAS kit.

The differences between the two are price and the ability to adjust height.

Question

I had a ton of squeak with my Eibach on my CTSV. Are there any common spring issues with the M5? Does it void CPO warranty?

I was on H&R's originally and never had any issues whatsoever; ride quality was fine and the car looked significantly better. Recently went to 21" wheels and went with KW HAS as I wanted to be able to adjust the ride height. The KW HAS work very well in all respects and are nice compromise between Springs and Coils; all depends on what you're going for in regards to ride height.

Any particular reason why AC Snitzer weren't considered ?
As am contemplating lowering my car but not sure which springs to use

Preferred option on forums seems to be the ACS

KW HAS is the best option outside of coils; better than the fixed height options (H&R, Eibach, ACS).

What is a reasonable amount to pay for springs to be installed?

Bumping this. I have a 2016 Singapore Grey M5 with the matt black 20” upgraded rims. We have just had a baby so my wife drives the M5 now and I bought a 2016 M4 coupe. Ive just fitted the Eibach Pro Kit to the M4 and whilst it’s reduced the front gap issue the back of the car needs to be 10mm lower. I had 15mm spacers on the rear and 12mm in the front, but it’s just not a drop I look back at and am 100% pleased with. The wife will go back to work soon and I’ll be back in the M5 and I fancy a few mods. Can we please reopen this thread and battle out whether H&R works and looks good and if the F10 Eibach kit actually lowers the car unlike my M4? Thanks!

KW HAS or coils much better than H&R or Eibach IMO.

With Eibach it depends where you live. UK or US they have different part numbers with different lowering heights. Not sure about spring rates I cant find anything about the UK springs. The US springs seem like they will be comfy on normal driving and as you push on they get a good bit stiffer

UK -25mm all round
US-18mm rear - 23mm front (I can't remember the exact numbers but its more or less that) Not quite low enough to be perfect but pretty close. To be perfect you would need front -30mm rear -25mm. Might whip out the grinder when they arrive

I will be buying the US ones as I hate the rear looking lower than the front.

H&R seem like they will be to hard for me but again cant find spring rate number.

I have a good question would the M5 KW HAS kit fit on a F10 550i RWD or Eibach or H&R springs?

Yeah thats why I have gone for Eibach. I want comfort and performance, so going progressive rate should make the car a bit more comfortable but then stiffening up as you press on. The roads I drove on are very poor, could not cope with the car being any harder in comfort mode.

Coming from Multiple Corvettes including a C7Z06 and a 2014 GTR Black Edition, the car still rides like a luxury car. I have always preferred almost zero movement and body roll in any car.
