How many days at port?

Now that the new M5 have been released, any idea as to how many days the new arrivals should stay at port. My car is scheduled to arrive on the 29th of this month and I am trying to estimate how long it should take before its making it's way to my BMW dealer.
Thanks in advance for any input.

if it is a US delivery car, then it shouldn't take more than 1-2 days to clear customs. If it is euro delivery car then they may take more time since they like to check the car more carefully since the buyer had the opportunity to put things in the car. ED cars take up to 5 days.

If you are in florida you should have your car within 5 days of port arrival.

We must be on the same vessel Dover Highway. It should take about a week to get to my Dealer in Gainesville, so it depends on where you are located in Florida. 3-4 days at the VPC and then 2-3 days for transit and a day or so at the Dealer, then it's yours.

How far are you from the Brunswick Port? Don't forget to post pics when you get your M5. It's great to see the delivery of all these M5's, can't wait for mine to get in!!!!

Thank you both for your reply. The delivery will be in the US in south Florida.
I chose moonstone exterior and black interior. I'll be sure to post a few pics when it arrives. Thanks again.
PS: go gators!

I ordered Moonstone with black interior and dark red sycamore wood trim. I can't believe we both order the same exterior and interior color.

People from Florida have great taste. Hope you are safe from Isaac and it is not affecting your area. Doesn't look great in south Florida right now. Glad to see that it's pushing further west, but not good for those guys.

Stay safe!!

Lol! Small worild. I really hope the color turns out great. I've never actually seen Moonstone other then on Internet pics, figured it would be nice to get something different.
My wife went to UF undergrad and we will actually be coming up for a game in October, well be on the lookout for another Moonstone M5!
Only option I did not chose was the B&O system and DVD, hope I don't kick myself in the butt for not upgrading on the stereo. Been reading a lot of good reviews on it, I only really listen to satellite radio in the car, only time will tell....
Let us know if you have any updates on when your car should arrive in Gainsville.

It took mine 9 days including a holiday, Labor Day. The port was approximately 2 hours away. But it all depends on the carrier route, if it's a well traveled route you could get it earlier. Post pics once you take delivery!!
