back in the M!!

hey guy, im happy to say that i am back in another M car, this time being the M5, ive got hooked on the M with the e46 m3 back in 06, then the e90 m3, sadly the high reving madness had to dissapear and replaced with the turbo engines thanks to the economics. but the trucker dropped off the m5 this last monday at my house and i was blown away by the changes and at the quality of the interior of it than i last remembered. the 11 550i i currently have as the family car doesnt even come close to the difference the m5 has in just about everything. i was not expecting it to be so much better. anyhow its a silverstone 2013 bmw m5 fully loaded with 3k miles and it had the dinan stage 2 mod on it with the dinan exhaust. truly an animal without grip in the first couple gears. its not as quick as the gtr , ecpecially from take off and that would be a alot different if the gtr was stock, but for a big luxery looking sedan it hauls ass. the bang sound system rocks and blows my denali truck and GT-Rs bose systems out of the water. looking forward to enjoying this car and hoping to learn some stuff from this forum about it. the only thing i dont dig much is the wheels on it, it just doesnt look good for me with the silver color, does anyone have pics of them being powdercoated matte or gloss black? i would love to see how they look, because i feel like this color def needs darker wheels to look much better. here are some of the pics from the owner and a couple that i snapped with my phone lol, sorry crap pics didnt have a chance with the rain to get better ones.

Congrats on the purchase! Looks like we have the same good taste in cars! Seems like we are local to each other as well. Hope to see you around sometime, I would love to checkout the dinan tune.

Silver on silver wheels may work; just not the OEM ones.
Silverstone is such a great color

Very nice, Congrats. Silverstone is an interesting color. I think that the 343Ms look great on your car. I thought about changing my 601Ms but haven't been able to pull the trigger, they may be just dark enough. Just wheel nuts, like to have them all.

that looks great thanks. i have always like dark wheels on lighter cars, and vice versa with dark cars. and the design of these stock wheels is actually pretty neat, i was debating if i should powder coat it or get aftermarket wheels to put on meatier tires. i have matte black wheels on the gtr and they looked awesome, so that option was also stuck in my head to get gloss or matte finish.

thanks guys, i now it doesnt look bad the way it is but im just not digging the wheel finish with this car color for some reason. i like the wheels to stand out and right now they almost kinda blend in with the car.

Have you thought about gunmetal finish? MCarsFan has a Silverstone with gunmetal and looks beautiful. If you are going gloss black exterior trim and all that then gloss black wheels is what I'd do.

These wheels are beautifully designed and look great. I had a hard time switching to something else. I was able to do 305 on the tears with no issues. PZero 305/30/20 99y. Do not get 103y Pzero as they budge

thanks, i am actually open to new ideas atm, i never had this color before so i dont know what would be looking best with it, i do have dark windows and i may do some more dark trim unless i dont get the black wheels. if you have other wheel colors on silverstone post em up gun metal does sound like a good color just have to really see it on the car to get a better idea though.

i wouldnt know how a stock m5 would feel like since it came with the tune , but the prev owner said he drove his friends m5 that is stock and said it felt like it was castrated lol. i just need to get wider tires perhaps 315 in the rear because it gets lose everytime in secont gear rolls right now, perhaps when it warms up it wont.
