M5 has a recall for turbo charger coolant hose heat shields .

My mechanic called me today. Just in time for Christmas too

Is this the same one that hit a couple of months ago and was talked about on the forums, or did your mechanic say it was a new recall?

No idea, both me and my friend got a call today. I'm in Florida and he's in Maryland. Didn't hear about a different recall. We both have 14 models. Not sure if it applies to all years.

I think so. I just had mine in for the annual oil service and they did this for me when it was in.

I haven't gotten anything official yet but I'm due for a service in February so I'll probably call them just before it is due.

Had mine in for a new tire last week. They flagged it for the recall, but said parts are on backorder. They'll call when in I guess.
