Does anybody have a DIY for install the KW HAS kit for the F10 M5?
As the title states. Im interested in how easy/hard is it to replace the spring perch with the KW provided perch and if there are any specific measurements/tips.
TIA. |

Pretty involved to DIY IMO. I'm handy with simple bolt-on stuff and I thought to myself that this was so much work!
I had a friend's shop, based in NYC, install mine and I helped a little. You'll need shock tools, like a spring compressor, and this floor standing machine that pulls off the stock perches off the shock bodies. FWIW, a few days after installing mine, I ended up having them removed. I didn't like how much harder it hit bumps.
