Spark plugs at 15k mi.

Took my car in for service. Dealer claims the car is due for spark plugs, also BMW wants to inspect the plugs out of my car. It was covered under warranty. I had read here in an earlier post that other members had to pay out of pocket for this. I find it strange the car needing plugs so early.

I had a similar issue and my SA told me that they reset/program that service to come back on at around 25K for the spark plugs.

I can tell you that my 2013 actually "needed" the spark plug change at 25.
After that service though, I am now at 60 and have none of the symptom indicating it is time for a change. I know what to feel for (random sloppy idle is the most common issue) and I'm just seeing what this new duration will be. I did an HPDE in the first 25k so that could contribute as it hasn't seen the same kind of "extended" run since then.
