M5 F10 in Fire Orange

Hi folks,

I found some pics on Autogespot of an M5 F10 LCI in an unknown orange color. I don't know the name of it, but I think it's an Individual color.

I think that's paint. Most likely an Individual Fire Orange (M3 GTS Color),

whats good about the colour, he doesn't need to change those front bumper reflectors to body-colour

now its the second best individual colour in metallic i see on m5 after santorini blue

Not feeling it. These colors don't work (for me) on this otherwise subtle design. This would work better with a stanced, dechromed car with aftermarket rims, lip, skirts, spoilers, etc.

If he went individual and it's FO paintwork, he should of done black chrome accents on grilles, gills, handles, and exhaust. Maybe even wheels.

It is a loud color for the M5, that is an otherwise low key performance car. But it would be a perfect color if owner planned to convert it for primary track use.

Based on the plate, I would suspect this is a player or someonbe otherwise associated with the Miami Dolphins.

I tend not to be a fan of "look at me" colors for the M5 and do agree that this would work better if all the chrome were blacked out.

In FL you can purchase a variety of specialized and vanity plates. Everything from environmental (save the turtles) to sports (miami heat or dolphins). He is most likely not related to the team in anyway, and just a fan of the dolphins.

Understood. It works that way in NY as well. Given that he painted his M5 in team colors, I would guess he has some affiliation with the team. Of course, he could just be a rabid fan.

I don't think so. My local dealer had an E9X M3 in that exact color. Wasn't that the color of the Lime Rock edition M3 also?

Well, he or she is obviously committed to orange - so they need to get serious about the finishing touches. Easy mod is a dark tint, which I have to assume is already scheduled being a FL car. That will look awesome.

Next up - wheels. There are several cool directions they could go with wheels but the stock wheels with that color is not one of them.

Finally, chrome has to go. It is really easy to imagine CF trim looking great with that color, throw in the Akra exhaust with CF tips. I have to say, this could be a badass looking M5 if they follow through. Present look is far from its potential IMO.

Im going to go with a diehard Dolphin fan or someone associated with the team, but no player in todays NFL could be that loyal to their team.

Could work with a few minor tweaks

Everything chrome needs to be switched over to gloss black

Semi smoked tail lights

Gloss Black wheels

Calipers color matched to the car or gloss black
