If you do ED, your invoice base price (including GG + D&D) will be $89,350. If you do ED, it will be $82,382. Lease payments will be $784.33 + tax ($54.90) = $839.23. If you run at MSRP, you still dont get to these numbers.

All of these number do not include any cap cost reduction etc. Lease math run at 0.00129 MF, 64% residual for a 3 year / 10k miles per year lease.

Can you please explain how you got your numbers.
People were getting 20% off MSRP. Best I've seen is $750 a month...

I just inquired today at one dealership (SoCal) - and they were telling me those deals come in December...where BMW put huge quotas up for the dealerships, and they need to get the year model's off the lot... they basically take a loss on the car...but they make it back with the kickbacks from BMW from hitting numbers.

Anyone who got 15-20% off their M5 - you mind telling us what month you got it in?

20% off MSRP of a new M5? It's a little hard to fathom that a dealer would offer a discount that large. Steve and David are volume M dealers and I have never heard anyone doing a deal like that including them. I would be really curious to see who, if anyone, can actually say they "got and bought" that deal rather than saying "heard a friend" or "heard another forum member got it" or "the salesman whispered to me"

ED discount is about 8% off U.S. MSRP. Then you knock off another 8-9% to get to your Discounted ED price. That still doesn't get you near the 20% mark - and this is if you DO Euro delivery.

Lookup a thread I started on a moonstone metallic exec demo car. It was 2014 with a couple thousand miles on it (never titled). Even that car (it was available for lease) was not at 20% discount off of sticker.

Also, I was "once" offered a lease deal on a USED 2014. The math took it to mid to high 800s monthly for a 24 month 10k/ year lease on a 125+ sticker M5. But the key is it was a used M5.

There are people around this forum that got that deal. I was on the Mercedes forum, and an owner on their had a ridiculously low payment on their M5 (I believe it was between 800-900).

I was on the phone with a sales manager today, and he said those deals generally come in December as I repeated earlier.

Timing must be perfect is what I'm understanding.

Trust me - it's a bit hard for me to fathom too - but someone had PM'd me offering help on getting a deal like that...his payments are 752/month on a $115k sticker price M5... (although I probably won't be able to get a deal like that)...

7 MSDs - makes sense. No free lunch. Information is being loosely thrown around here - need to be caveated that MSDs are needed.

Haven't run the math but that could work.

Um, it does work. Ask golffrr!!

MSDs are as close to a free lunch as possible. They're fully refunded at the end. You are basically getting around 15% ROI. In my opinion if u don't have $6300 u can tie up and invest for 3 years u really shouldn't be buying a $100k car.

Is there a secret club you guys are part of? These numbers are outstanding. How is it possible? I've contacted David at Steve Thomas BMW and his numbers were nothing better than Costco.

Throw me a bone or a porterhouse here, I'm dumb founded.

you can get this same deal but you would need to wait until Dec 2015 or Jan/Feb 2016 and buy a remaining 15' at a dealer. Also its key you buy from a part of the country that has harsh winters. Nobody was trying to buy an M5 in Feb in Iowa.......thats how i got my great deal.

That's who I bought mine from. Remember I'm doing a ED. It's very close to ED invoice. MSDs make big difference.

Makes perfect sense.

That's is some skill level 100000 for buying a car...shopping on cars at different parts of the country depending on weather. Great work, guy.

Did they charge you to ship it to your place?

That's 23% off MSRP

You'd be at around $650 if you put MSD's down?

And how does returning a lease car work if you bought it out of state? Can you return to any dealership?

rates, incentives, allocations, etc.. change month to month. Sometimes we can blow them out sometimes we have to hold a little. What may be quoted one month may not necessarily be the same the next month. We always try and give you guys the best deals as we can as I'm sure you know that. Sometimes we are the lowest sometimes we are not.

Yeap, this math works. Good deal! Guessing you didn't get executive or drivers assist or B&O?

Not really. 15% ROI? You put $6,300 up front and you get a benefit per month in lease payment reduction (~$75 for the said car) + you get principal back at the end (assume at the end of month 36 in a 36 month lease). Your IRR on this investment (value of lower monthly payments) is about 1.2% on a time value basis. Happy to send you my excel.

You're in NY aren't you? What are you paying for tax? Haha.

Edit - Just saw NJ.

So I'm at $945; an $12/month discrepancy that I'm trying to figure out currently.
