If you could get the third row seating that's what the wife would be driving but unfortunately is not available on the M :

would you choose this over the m5? I traded my 15 m5 for an donington/mugello x5m, had it for 1 month and missed the m5 so much I traded it back in for an m5. The x5m is nice and fast for what it is but still felt heavy/big and the trans isn't great.

The X5M is a great truck, super comfortable, and fast but it doesn't thrill me like the M5 does. I'm also comparing a bone stock truck to a fully modded M5.

Agreed. I choose the m5 over the x5m but wouldn't mind having both! good luck with it!

Did you buy or lease? If lease, would you be able to provide some pricing. I'm considering getting an X5M for my wife; my M5 would be my DD and I could cruise in the X5M with the family during the weekends.

Thanks

Thanks
Leased it. 113k sticker, 10k/yr 36/mo, taxes and fees up front, 1300/month payment. If it's in the budget don't even think twice lol.

...same issue here! But due to road conditions during the winter months in the NORVA area,....The X5M gets the call to duty when snow and ice is upon us. I'd hate to get caught out and about in the M5 (with stock tires) in snow and ice. My nerves would be frying!
