You need tires

Earlier today I ordered some new tires. I bought them from onlinetires.com
Tire rack had a waiting period into next month. Mine are on its way to my home. Price was under 1400 w free shipping. 20 inch pilots. So if didn't know of this place, there you go.

Brian, I'm guessing you didn't get insurance on the tires with that price?

I never buy from Tire Rack these days. They have become overpriced.

I buy from Discount Tire. They have superlative customer service. They will also price match ANY online reseller. So I tend to look up prices at whichever dodgy online reseller has the lowest price, and then price match with discount tire.

Your welcome guys. I paid I think 1350 or 13 something w free shipping. Their price beat everyone who I called or viewed. Online tire rep was great and I will buy from them again. I don't need to price match w online. I didn't buy insurance w the tires. I didn't think of it at the time. But I can get it from discount for a small price. Ordered Monday will receive Thursday. Now that's service. Yea 4400 lbs takes it's toll on tires but more important the brakes. Glad I could share w you guys. Since I turn 49 on Thursday this is a great present to me.

What I would pay would be:

$275.94 for fronts from Discounted Wheel Warehouse
and $292.60 for rears from Discounted Wheel Warehouse

Price-matched through Discount Tire for a total price of $$1137.08 for a full set of tires from a reputable vendor.

And I wouldn't pay tax because since Discounted Wheel Warehouse is out of state and won't charge me sales tax, Discount Tire will discount further to match their post-tax price to Discounted Wheel Warehouse.

My vendor strategy is >$200 below Boots'.

Thanks for sharing the name of distributer.
BTW for front tires you mentioned $275.94 and it's Michelin Tires PILOT SUPER SPORT 265/35ZR20 95Y which is rated to 1520lb;
However the Michelin Tires PILOT SUPER SPORT 265/35ZR20 99Y XL costs $289.33 and is rated to 1709lb. I'm not sure about M5 but My M6 has the second tire (99Y XL). Just make sure to order the correct one!

I won't be ordering tires for my M5 ever. I have yet to keep a personal car more than 2 years, and in the past 11 months I have just 4k miles on the M5.

My tire buying experience stems from my other cars.
