KW HAS Kit: Heavy Vibration

I installed the KW HAS kit a few weeks ago and I have been experiencing a heavy vibration. The vibration is ONLY felt during 50mph and greater acceleration (moderate to heavy). There is no vibration during cruising or breaking.

Also the vibration is not felt in the steering wheel, it's more so in the cabin of the car. The car is under warranty so after bmw inspecting the differential, axles, spacers, etc. They determine it was suspension related when they raised the car and it went away.

I will be taking it to the shop that did the install, but was curious if anyone else have experienced this.

So when lowered you get vibration and no vibration when car is raised back to stock height? How many miles on the car? Is it possible the vibration is coming from the driveshaft/drivetrain? Usually drivetrain vibrations will be felt in the seat and cabin, not in the wheel. By lowering you are slightly changing the angle of the drivetrain, may be worth a shot to check those for play.

I should also note that this is on my M6GC. I don't seen a lot of discussion on that board, so I thought I would post here.

Correct. When raised the vibration was almost completely eliminated. Bmw engineers came and checked out the car, including the axles. But honestly I think they are taking the easy way out and attributing to mods.

Have the shop that did the install take another look; if the vibration only started happening after the install it’s more than likely related.

Bad install maybe? I would try to get a new set warrantied by KW and have someone else install it.

That was the first thing that was done. No effect. The vibration isn't always while driving only while accelerating.

What kind of BS test was that? your BMW service center is full of crap. No tech raises a car and drives it to see if a vibration goes away. They basically dubbed you because you have aftermarket suspension. Maybe it is the suspension, maybe its the guibo flex disc (between tranny and driveshaft), since you're not feeling it in your steering wheel.
