I finally saw a frozen black M5 and you could really see the spots form oily hands touching it. I'm assuming this is just as much related to the car being black as the matte clear. Does the frozen white show dirt and oil more than a normal glossy clear?

The car looks great and I definitely like the frozen white but am still on the fence.

Thanks guys, car is coming along nice! Here are a couple more pics. Had the roof wrapped in a satin black today and the taillights have a frost clear on them. Sorry for the crappy pics, I'll get some better ones on Friday when the Akra goes on.

On the frozen white if someone with really dirty hands touches it you can see it, otherwise its like a normal paint job. I haven't noticed this paint to be "higher maintenance" as of yet. I'm getting a clear bra just to be safe as I hear chipping on this pain can be a nightmare. Of course hand wash only, no power washers and no waxing. If you park your car outside overnight everyday, I would not get this paint as it seems more sensitive. I noticed some oil stains on the car after getting home one day but it wipes right off.

I believe that the clear bra will be much more evident on a frozen color (and even may carry over some gloss properties). I would be very interested in pics of what the car looks like with a clear bra on it, as protection from rock chips is the only thing holding me back from a frozen color when I order.

By the way, the guys at Xpel offered to ship samples of their film to test out. See discussion chain here: http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=774569

I'll post pics when it's completed. I went with Xpel Stealth. If its noticeably different ill wrap the whole thing as long as the finish looks correct. As of now, they are wrapping the hood, bumper, head lights (with clear), front fenders, rocker panels, mirrors and half of rear bumper.

Can't wait to see it.. that Lambo you posted pics of seemed to look great. By the time I order my car I will be about a 4 hour drive from XPEL HQ, and will be having them wrap whatever car color I end up getting. If the XPEL stealth works out well for you, Frozen white will definitely become my top choice for color.

Sup Marcco! It was nice meeting you at EAS today. Mann, your car sounds ammaazzing when you took off today. I'm enjoying my car even more now that it is lowered. Your right, it is more nimble with less body roll.

Hey Allen, good meeting you too! Can't wait to see your car with the drop and spacers, I'm sure it looks killer. Have fun at C&C today!
