Move Over M5, You now have another garage mate

Just picked this up. 2014 911 C4S. Car is absolutely incredible. Still love the M5, but nothing like a 911.

Sick bro! Any mods planned? Great choice, and it's faster than a stock M4. So which is your daily driver then? Lol!

Lot's faster, the 911 S is still only 400hp. You have to get the Turbo or GT to beat the M5 in 0-60 or quarter mile. This one is really nice.

Thanks for all the love guys. I will tell you that the M5 feels much faster, however the 911 is not too far behind in a street race from a 20 MPH roll, which was a surprise to me. The Porsche also handles a little better as it should. I am very fortunate to be able to have both. They are completely two different animals, and I personally would not have a 911 as a DD simply because of the size, and room. I will track the car on certain occasions.

I want! I think 911 is next, especially now that the wife has a Jeep. Curious for you P guys, wat types of discounts are there on 911s?

There is really not many. You have to keep shopping until you find a dealer that is allowing you some wiggle room, otherwise the word discount does not exist in the world of Porsche. If you will give it sometime, you will be able to find a used but lower priced 991 S or 4S or even Turbo in a year or two with very low miles.

A little bit better? Just a little? I think you need to take a day off work and go drive them back to back in some serious twisty back roads.

OK so new, everything is msrp on 911s? Does it matter what level of 911?

You can bargain with your dealer bellow msrp not a problem, but there is no holiday incentives, or Porsche credit or anything like that. They charge extra for everything, even seat belt color. I would usually walk away but they make such a damn good product!
