Space Gray or Alpine White?
What color for a daily driver in the Northeast?

I assume you mean Alpine White? Space Grey is probably the most boring color you can get on the M5... its just your typical metallic grey that every manufacturer offers these days.

CAn't go wrong with either one. I didn't think I would ever own a space grey BMW but my current ride is space grey (e92M3) and I love it! for me it always seem to look clean and it looks great in all lights.

Thanks guys. All great points. What's funny is I think if I were to go 550 I'd go with Space Gray. But the M5 looks killer in AW.
Decisions!! Lol

Space Grey one million percent. It's a very elegant color and relatively easy to maintain. Far from average on the M5.
SO interior with SG exterior is a gorgeous combo. |

I have the Space Gray on my M5 and got it to blend in a bit with the crowd. I also have the Sakhir interior and like the contrast. If you're lazy as I am you'll appreciate the way the gray hides dust and dirt. I can just clean the windows and not be too embarrassed to drive a fairly dirty car!

Both colors goes with SO interior equally as well.
Space grey is def. easier to maintain. My previous car was AW and every time it rains all the water run off areas turns grey/brown. You don't see this with SG. AW does stand out more and is much more common. Can't go wrong with either color. Alan
