I don't think so.
Here are my rear wheels and as you see they are just as concave as those in the anniversary video. It depends from the view angle.

May just be the angle but these rears look more flush with the fender than yours. Unless BMW used spacers which I highly doubt. They also look noticeably more concave than the fronts where as yours look to be the same from the pics.

I don't think that they used spacers and there only exist 2 types of wheels in this design in Germany, the 408M 19" and the 409M 20".

But I will ask Philipp at our next M meeting, he was one of the producers of this clip.

I still believe it's the standard 409M 20" without spacers, just like mine.
But I'll figure it out exactly and will tell you then. Just give me some time.

Cool. I still like my 601s much better I'm just curious. As I said you may be correct it may just be the angle of the picture.

I like my 601M also better for summer!
But for winter the 409M really are sufficient and look great, almost like the 343M.

Luckily I don't have to worry about a winter setup if I did I would definitely do the same

So you're just missing all the fun!

Drifting on snow with a M5 is REALLY FANTASTIC!

You should attend the BMW Snow drift training.

Shouldn't it be black with a tan interior?

Java Green is striking, but it seems hard to believe that BMW would make it an Anniversary colour. I think a new frozen colour is likely (I.e., frozen color for our US friends).

Highly doubt anything new will be out, or any new color will be introduced. I was just sharing what I found the other day.

Looks like they will put different wheels on it. Will offer it in a few frozen M hue colors with maybe a special interior (like stitching). It will defiantly have CP and probably CCB's. That's all I expect.

But you never know.

I just learned from my contact in Munich that the new Anniversary Edition M5 will have some upgrades like a power increase to 600 bhp and some other modifications on the engine. It is supposed to be the same engine in the new X5/X6 M.

More details will be revealed at the M Festival 2014 at the Nürburgring in June. ;-)

Hopefully there will be a possibility to upgrade our M5s CP. We shall see...

Hmmm. I wonder if this will be enough to swing me to a 2015. I guess it depends on pricing. If they are too aggressive it becomes a depreciation trap.

I think that would be the first time BMW did an engine change within the same version of a M car.
