F10 M5 pulls to the right after DYNO

After running a few Dyno pulls the car started pulling to the right....so I got it aligned with same problem...alignment tech said it can be the tires.

So I swapped the front wheels from one side to the other just for a quick road test and the pulling went away car ran straight ...so I switched the wheels back since the tires are directional.....so I assumed this test meant the tires are bad and causing the pulling.....so I changed front tires and got the alignment checked....same thing car pulls to the right.......any help here? Wheels were bent during the dyno (straps holding car down ) ?

When you say that you "changed front tires," did you replace them or just switch back to the original positions? It sounds more like a tire issue if you rotated the tires and the issue went away. Typically, a bent wheel will cause a vibration instead of a pull.

I had a similar issue with pulling (albeit during acceleration) and it turned out to be a defective rear tire. Swapping the rear wheels prior to replacing the tire caused the pull to reverse direction. Took the car to BMW and they identified that one rear tire had a very high road force. Replacing that tire fixed the issue.

Tirerack.com has a useful guide for determining the cause of a pull:

If your wheels were bent you wouldn't be able to balance them.

After doing some research the BMW F10 had this common issue in many cars....anyone with the F10 M5 also have this pulling to the right issue?

This was the fix for some other F10 cars;

-on my wife's 528 they recalibrated the steering rack

-Mine was recently resolved with a software update for the electronic steering on my 2011 535 doing the same thin

-It's called "program for steer ahead". It cured my pulling problem.

Does it do it during normal driving or during hard acceleration?

I was thinking maybe that there was a way the differential could've been damaged on the Dyno. Does it do it while coasting, driving normally, or accelerating? If it's different under each condition then maybe it could be the differential. If it's the same then it's probably wheels or alignment or steering system..
