F10 M5 Exhaust help

So I want loud exhausts, and the loud cracks when upshifting. Currently looking at the RPi GTS, but I dont want to have to deal with the CEL.

I am open to look at any other exhaust on the market but want to hear your suggestions.

Also, since this is my first time doing exhaust mods, and I am leasing the car, any problems from BMW for having changed out the pipes?

I currently have the Supersprint axle back and it is not aggressive enough for me. I am installing the Eisenmann Race cans on Friday at Trinity Autosport. I'm sure that will help with sound and performance. I'll post a review thereafter. I also have a lease but there is an OEM sleeve to reinstall the stock cans.

Something like this ?

Catless downpipes paired with our microcats, catless resonated front pipes, center X pipe and valved mufflers in open mode. Best of all? NO CEL with our micro cats!

Send us a PM and we can get you a sweet deal on a full kit!

How loud is loud? Sound is such a personal preference. What's your tolerance for drone, cold start, etc?

There is a sticky post rating the loudness of all available exhausts for the F10 M5. I think it's reasonably accurate...check it out.

My opinion, it depends on how far you want to go with the modding. For a lease, I personally would put Eisenmann Race rear mufflers on and call it a day. Perfect for this car.

If you want to get really adventurous, then downpipes and any exhaust will be loud.

Full retard loud is straight pipes (muffler delete), but it's crazy stupid loud.

Good luck any exhaust you choose will improve on stock.

Loud as in still nice in the cabin, but vicious on the outside, But I guess that combo is not possible. I will check out the Eisenmann Race mufflers, just wish I could hear it in person.

I have noticed that some exhausts make the cracks and pops go away, is that the case with the Eisenmann race?

Hopefully soon. I thought RPI Dave was going to set one up shortly. I get my car back tomorrow, install the E-Race, and the new wheel will be ready next week. Almost one month since my accident.

Sleeve

OP: When you return the vehicle after a lease, here is the OEM sleeve you need to purchase if you want to re-install stock exhaust.

Look at realoem.com. BMW sells sleeve clamps to re-attach the mufflers.
